Who's Touring the Shore in 2006?

History America Tours 2006

During the first week in September 2006, a group from Texas will explore the "Fulcrum of the Seven Years War", when the British & French battled for control of the newest colony (1749).

The group, guided by historian Brian Cuthbertson will make a scheduled stop in Sherbrooke Village (September 8) before heading back to the US.

Eastern Nova Scotia & the Coastal World Beyond

This group out of Orr's Island, Maine prefers the great outdoors to history. These kayakers will spend six days, also in September exploring the coast from the water side. Here's their blurb, in case you want to join them! ($750 US)

"With over 4,000 miles of coastline, this "off the beaten path" destination provides a stirring experience as we venture the less traveled waters on the eastern shore of Nova Scotia. Whether you enjoy the sound of waves splashing against towering cliffs or just the peace and quiet of paddling through this undiscovered region, this is one excursion you won't want to miss."
